How sad. 99.9% of animal attacks are the fault of the person interacting with the animal. It was clearly established that this stingray felt trapped & threatened & had acted in self defense. Steve would be very upset that people are destroying the very animals that he was trying to educate the public to save. Unfortunately what happened to Steve was a very rare occurance and now the species is paying the price.
