PROTEUS Diving is looking for people interested in working some weekends this summer 2011 (full weekends, and sunday's) with the potential for more work.
Candidates need to be medically fit (TC Standards), posess a marine radio operators' certificate, have a current first aid course and a Marine Emergency Duties course. PROTEUS Diving will arrange for on board examination by Transport Canada.
Duties will include operation as a Restricted Engineer and assisting divers. There will also be the opportunity to dive once or twice each day.
Operations are conducted in the Kingston area on the local wreck sites. Candidates that are certified divers will be given priority. Candidates need to be adept at dealing with the public and have a good sense of humour; opportunity for training as a vessel master will be offered to those interested.
