For some reason my search here has not giving me much but if there is good info on this please link.

1) Looking for good eats at resonable prices near marina in Cabo San Lucas.

2) Best way to get around for short hops only. I did read a thread stating Uber was not safe and I hate dealing with the price negotiation needed for taxis if it is like Cozumel. :(

Oh, one last. Do I need peso for just a two day stay?

I have been before but for some reason I don’t remember the restaurants and only walked.

I spent 5/6 days in Cabo San Lucas in 2017 for diving, our hotel was in the marina, and this place was (for me) the worst tourist trap of my entire travel life ! By chance diving was ok. (Manta diving, it's on the port).

I was told it's typically a spring break destination, but if it's case the US students could probably choose better places to go.
Restaurants at reasonable prices near the marina ? Could not t find one. We had our own car, so no Uber, and so we were able to go to Cabo Pulmo, which i immensely recommend instead of Cabo Sans Lucas !

Sorry, that will not help...

I ubered between Pueblo Bonito Rose resort and Dive Cabo at the Tesoro hotel several times. Uber was good, easy, fast, and resonable price.

As for restaurants, I've heard there are many good restaurants. But by the marina it's really a tourist trap. It's where many cruise ships would tender passengers into town, and Cabo is not cheap for tourists.

My favorite cheap eats (in no particular order) are:

Carnitas Los Michoacanos on Leona Vicario Ave. (takes credit cards)
El Pollo de Oro on Jose Morelos Street, (can't remember if they take credit card)
Tacos Gus on Lazaro Cardenas Blvd (does not take credit cards)

I also get juice at a fresh juice joint called El Dengue on Leona Vicario Ave. everytime I am in Cabo.

These are all within easy walking distance from the start of the marina.

Hard to say if you will need pesos. I usually do because I go elesewhere besides Cabo San Lucas.

Tacos Gus! That’s the one I was trying to think of. We ate there last trip. Thank you!
