A recent event has caused me to question the integrity of other diveshops, and divers.if anyone thinks my integrity is for sale because I am the club webmaster, I resign.

I will not sacrifice my honor or integrity for the sake of ANY dive shop, please do not ask me to do so, it will not happen. I spent 12 years in the Corps, and my honor is not for sale. If this is an issue, please remove me from the club webmasters!

From what I have seen and read of your posts, I see no reason to question your integrity or your motivations. You have done nothing (that I am aware of) to bring shame upon yourself, the position you hold or anyone else. I will take the word of most Marines over the word over the average citizen because of the integrity that is drilled into them from Day 1 in the Corps. (I was Air Force (don't hold that against me though!) and we tried like hell to be military but didn't even come close.) My words probably mean nothing and carry little weight due to my status as a newcomer on this forum but perhaps that puts me in a unique position, as an observer on the outside looking in. I see nothing wrong with how you have conducted yourself lately.

I read your comments. I share your frustration. I salute your control. I would have been in her face.

She almost became my panicked diver, I wasn't the teacher, but I was fed up with her verbal castigation.

I agree, good dive shops are very hard to find. I have been here on Oahu for two years and I haven't found one I like yet. Don't let this thing get to you icyman, diving is supposed to be fun, don't let one person/shop get you this worked up.

I did, I shouldnt have, its my mistake.

Remember icy......fecal matter occurs......(cleaned up for obvious reasons)

Take care......

Hey Icyman,

I agree with Medic Diver 45, I have not read anything in any of your posts to lead me to believe you have any ulterior motivations. Please do not let ignorant remarks make you upset or make you leave this board.
