Resetting VEO 200/250

Because of the issues described in this thread: http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/oceanic/315614-veo-250-dive-computer.html my list of downloadable dives has gotten very cluttered and corrupted. There are phantom dives that just never disappear no matter how many dives I do. How can I clear out the memory of this unit and start from scratch with settings, etc.

I tried leaving it without a battery for a day and that didn't work. I'm really growing frustrated with this computer as it resets randomly when I don't want it to, leaving lots of crap around.

Thanks. CS pointed out that it is in the manual. Page 62 to be exact.

I've recently cleaned the contacts and replaced the battery on this very troublesome computer. I'm going to give it one more chance before I either replace or repair it. Frankly I didn't contact costumer service immediately because of what I consider the rather dismissive attitude the company has taken in the thread I linked.
