Researchers say dolphins are causing porpoise deaths

No, that view has always been a bit to unrealisticly rosy. But the new observtion does speak to dolphins being both intelligent and having very highly developed social interactions.
 
When we dove in Rangiroa, we had the good fortune to swim with a pod of dolphins for five minutes or so. When they left us, they appeared to have indulged in a game of "make the pufferfish puff", because as we followed in their wake, we saw a bunch of agitated puffers. They are intelligent animals (apparently with a sense of humor), not saints.
