It was a good thing, no doubt. Yes, I did gather up some of the line but not all. I used to gather a lot more line, but I found myself missing many good dives while I was carefully picking line out of fans, soft corals, and my feet. I think the turtle was grateful, and I enjoyed hanging out with it for a few minutes. Almost made me feel guilty for all the times I used to eat its turtle cousins in a past life! (But I'm a good boy now and I don't do that any more...)

Very cool, bet that had a high Uvula Factor.

YIKES!!!! The Personal Uvula Swelling Index had dropped off my dive assessment profile, but since you mnentioned it... The water was particularly salty this weekend, and I found myself continuously employing SCEP (Sinus Cavity Evacuation Protocol) to evacuate the sinus cavities. I don't think that affected the turtle, but it did seem a little lethargic. Maybe it was just weighted down with evacuated materiel...:doctor:
