I decided to attend the Rescue course and I am totally happy about it...
We started with the CPR course where l learnt lots of interesting things although the silicon manikin is no fun to kiss (I prefer Nicole Kidman)...
The CPR exam went fine...
Then I started the Rescue course and a new world appeared in front of my eyes...
I can see my dives (and other people's dives) under a different light now, I noticed small things that 1 month ago did not mean a thing to me but now I can file them under "Stress"...
I also loved to learn more about barotrauma, nitrogen narcosis and so on...
All the parts that could be done in the classroom have been done and today I also passed the exam...
Starting from monday pool sessions and then check out dives in the sea...
Today was a fantastic day for diving but I felt 99 per cent of my possibilities due to a slight cold but after reading all thoso things in the book I called out the dive...
It was sad but I did it...
Instructor is good and up to this moment it was worth every Euro I handed to my LDS...
The only problem ???
The more I learn the more I want to learn...
If everything goes well the next two steps are Divemaster and Instructor...
I cannot think that I am so close to these levels, four months ago I wasn't even able to properly breath out of a reg !!!
Anyway, above is just a dream for now, Rome wasn't built in a day...
Part of what is happening to me is due to the support and info I found on this board, thanks a lot guys !!!
