A scuba diver is reported missing and presumed drowned.
Vermont State Police have been searching a quarry in West Rutland for the missing man.
Authorities tell Channel 3 that the diver is from New Hampshire. He reportedly went diving with a friend on Sunday. One of the divers experienced trouble and both tried to surface. But only one made it.
Police called off the search Sunday night. A recovery team will be back on the scene Monday.

Rescue crews recover missing scuba diver

RUTLAND, Vt. (AP) -- Rescue crews on Monday recovered the body of a missing scuba diver.
Tim Gagnon, 43, of Northwood, N.H. was reported missing Sunday morning at a West Rutland quarry.
Gagnon was diving with another man when the other diver had trouble and came to the surface. Gagnon never appeared.
Police and rescue crews searched the quarry Saturday and Sunday and recovered the body Monday afternoon.
Both men were experienced divers, police said.
The case remains under investigation and an autopsy was ordered, police said.
