100 dives like that would be $7500, which would definitely put me in the CCR Ballpark.
And how much for the CCR training?

25% of a 100 cu-ft tank is about 20cf? I reckon your math IS pretty different... :rofl3::wink::wink:

snip

ps. Where are you getting helium for less than $0.50 per cu-ft??

I don't start with an empty tank oh observant one. I buy it by the 210cuft cylinder for 95$ It's all theoretical until I get trained to use it.

O2 is 21$ for the same size. My nitrox fills are $1.50. I see no reason to dive air anymore if I am at home. It's also very nice to fill 4 tanks at a time while washing the gear and catching up on Scubaboard at the same time. Your cost may vary.

@stuartv helium in cave country is like $0.8/cf from the fill stations. If you are blending at home $0.5/cf is about right
Spare a thought for us on the other side of the Pacific. Going rate here from a shop is au9c/l for He. That's au$2.50/cuft, or ~us $2/cuft. Obviously home blending is cheaper, but nowhere near your prices.

My shop offers CCR training. As staff, I get it at no charge. And believe you me, I am going to take advantage of that benefit!

Ha ha, okay. I don't do trimix dives that often, so whenever I do get a trimix fill, I am generally starting with no helium in my tank. :p

How much for full trimix?

Generally the same, the student pays for all gas mixes, including bailout....so the total could be around $2000.00

Not that bad,it was roughly $2K for full mix OC 15+ years including classes,gasses and time at 40 Fathom Grotto.
Gear was $3K ish,mostly in 4 new SP regs and some bands/manifolds

I'm suddenly much more grateful for my LDS
