Requiring shallow helium mixes?

@stuartv helium in cave country is like $0.8/cf from the fill stations. If you are blending at home $0.5/cf is about right

My calcs are based on my diving history....double LP 104's filled to 3500 psi with 10/50 or 10/60 for dives to 270-300 ffw. Such as eagles' nest -- that is when I decided CCR was the way go....

That fill requires a minimum of 125 cubic feet of Helium.

Helium in my area is 55-75 cents per cu ft wholesale price. 1.50 is nuts. Good way for a shop to make sure you are not going to do many helium fills.

25% of a 100 cu-ft tank is about 20cf? I reckon your math IS pretty different...

I believe he was implying repeat fills after leaving a 20% reserve on a previous dive.

I said 200 but would revise it shallower if conditions warranted and as always I contend that some folks are impaired @ PPN of 79%

WOB has never been an issue at depth for me.

As RBs are illegal for spearfishing where I live and I almost exclusively spearfish,they are pointless for me.
