Well, dang! My shop buys a big bottle of it when they need it and I thought their cost was not much below the $1.50 they charge. Hmmmm....
 
My calcs are based on my diving history....double LP 104's filled to 3500 psi with 10/50 or 10/60 for dives to 270-300 ffw. Such as eagles' nest -- that is when I decided CCR was the way go....

That fill requires a minimum of 125 cubic feet of Helium.
 
If someone (rec diver) wants to dive between 100-130 (most rec divers who want to go deep), what course is reommended if one also wants to add helium?

Everyone has to eat... markups may vary greatly between shops though and supplies too.
 
I said 200 but would revise it shallower if conditions warranted and as always I contend that some folks are impaired @ PPN of 79%

WOB has never been an issue at depth for me.

As RBs are illegal for spearfishing where I live and I almost exclusively spearfish,they are pointless for me.
