Hello all,
for a while, I was looking for an add-on pocket for my new BP/W setup.
I don't always carry extra stuff, so I wanted a solution that adds as little as possible clutter, is low profile, and fits on the waist band along with the other things I had already there.
Glue-on pouches were not an option, as I often dive with tropical diveskin. Also sometimes with 7mm wet, but I wanted a solution that always works.
I looked at various pouches from Zeagle, Diverite, OMS. None of them I really liked. They were either too small or too big/obtrusive/floppy when empty. And some were rather pricy.
I then stumbled upon the Oxycheq Trifold pocket:
When not in use, very small and slim indeed. Yet folds up large enough to take the usual accessories like mask, shears, or reel.
From what I can see (without long time heavy use), it is VERY well made, and good materials. Fits perfectly on my waist band next to my knife.
AND it wasn't too expensive either (from Samish Divers at ebay, make an offer or ask...)
Only flaw: there is no internal loop or D-Ring to secure things. I'll have to ask my wife to dust off her sewing machine....maybe something to improve, Oxycheq??
Stay warm!

Disclaimer:
I have NO affiliation with either Oxycheq or Samishdivers. This report is just to share my findings. Maybe that safes others some time.
Most of the other products I looked at are also very fine pieces of gear and well made. Just not right for my individual needs.
