Report on Essentials of Recreational Diving (super-long)

So we just completed our second day of diving in our Essentials class in Seattle. It was taught by Brian Wiederspan and his wife Jeanna. Our experieces echoed yours. The class is FANTASTIC. Although we are not super experienced, we do have over 100 dives each, and boy did this class knock us on our butts. We came up after each dive saying what crappy divers we are, but also that we had learned a ton. The only thing that we may have had better, is that we only had a 12" screen to view our silty antics on.

Wow, a blast from the past! Back when I took Essentials, it was still 5thD-X, which at that time consisted of just Andrew and Delia. It's great to hear that UTD is expanding and giving so many more people the opportunity to experience team diving.
