Good evening,

This question is for the ones who do their own dry suit repairs/ seal replacements. Where do you buy the latex wrist/neck seals, reinforcing tape, etc.?

Thanks,
Brutus

Very true, but you can usually get them from a lot of dive stores also. Here a set of heavy duty seals is 30€. I like the heavy duty latex seals that DUI has, I have 2 DUI suits and never had a single issue with the seals. Even if you don't have a DUI, you can use the same seals. There's a wide selection out there, and a lot of good quality as well.

PM Bob3 for parts and pieces. I bought neck and wrist seals with the tape from him for a Viking. I'm not sure what all brands he can get supplies for.

Call 610 631 2288 and ask John to send what ever you need. Be sure to include Aqua Seal. North East Scuba Supply

Don't think Aquaseal is the best if the suit is Rubber like a Viking or Gates commercial suit....

They have a special glue and hardner.

Yes,

Aquaseal is not the correct glue, especially if it's a rubber suit.
But nevertheless, I would (and did) use rubber kind of glue.

I just replaced my wrist seals, and I used TipTop SC 2000 glue with hardener. I do not know if you can get that glue from over there. But something like that most likely...

The TipTop glue is meant for rubber to rubber, rubber to wood, rubber to fabric, rubber to steel etc. After it's dried up, it looks and feels like rubber
:).

Aquaseal is quite "hard" after it's dried up. And for my opinion it's not the right glue for this purpose. Well, I did put little bit of Aquaseal to the seam part inside of the sleave...

My 2 cents...
