So, on a recent trip to Cozumel, one of the dive setups fell from the bench it was on clean breaking off the primary regulator low pressure hose from the 1st stage. While all was well with the rest of the trip with a replacement regular, I am now at odds on how to proceed.

We have an Atomic brand regular and it has a Atomic brand swivel hose (expensive) and I think based on the reg, if you want a swivel, you need an Atomic anyways I have been researching solutions and want to throw this item out as fodder to see if the reaction or recommendation - "yeah great idea" or "your asking for it" or "other". Now it needs to be said, this is my wife's rig, the factory hose is at least 5-7" too long and so the prospect of her getting a shorter hose for her primary is appealing. Okay.. react!
