Can anyone tell me if you can replace the hood on a Viking 1000? If so, is this something I can do myself or does it need to be taken somewhere?

The hood on any Viking suit is replaceable.
You can replace the hood on any Viking suit if you have the knowledge and skill.
If you do not have the knowledge and/or skill then there are places where you can hire someone who does to replace the hood on your Viking suit.
