Try this site to answer your questions. The DA Aqua-Master was the work horse mid line double hose for USD for all of the 60s and early 70s and went intomproduction I think in the late 50s. I am not certain on all that. The above link is good reading. N

Nice summary on that website. I only found one error in my cursory read. The author claims that the DX single stage regulator continued beyond 1955. That is not true. All DX were closed out at the end of that year. They were offered at discount throughout early 1956 until shops cleared all stock. The sale price was $39.95.
