New diver question....considering the lower than usual Winter diving Viz due to all the rain, river run off and wind storms, is it likely that the late Spring and Summer viz (plankton bloom) might actually be better than this Winter's viz.? Or at least the same? (10-15ft. on a good day?)

I'm contemplating doing some summer diving (July/Aug.) in B.C. while up there on my annual sailboat trip and wondered if it would be worth arranging some charters in the Nanaimo/Sunshine Coat/Desolation Sound Areas. What would be the likeliest/clearest viz. sites that time of year?

I'm interested in the new artificial reef 737 off of Chemainus, B.C. in particular.
Anyone chartered out of Ladysmith or Chemainus and have a recommendation?

Thanks
