Phew!

I will be making the grand purchase sometime later this week or next(after I pick out my BC, and dry suit) The winning regulator that will feed me air on my underwater pursuits is the Apeks ATX200!!!

:yea:

Thanks to all for you help on my first regulator purchase!

I bought the Mares V32 first stage with the proton XL regulator. The set is superb. Very easy to maintain, reliable and very very light. The first stage is a better version of the mk22 which was already very good.

Happy diving

I've been diving AquaLung/US Divers regs for over thirty years. My current "front line" regs are SEA/Micra - I have two Legend Supremes on the way.
I also have Conshelf & Titans.
[The Legend does indeed look like a cross between the Apeks and the SEA - mebbe the best of both...]
All of 'em are great!

I have an Atomic and I love it. I dive on the Oregon coast and in the Puget Sound most of the time and I've never had a problem. It breathes great. I'm not aware of any cold water problems with the Atomic. I've used in temps down to 36 degrees.
