I think about how much time and effort I put into completely rebuilding a reg set, (at least an hour) and then think about how much time I spent learning about how regulators work, and about the time I put into continuing to learn.....$15/set? Not me.

I admire you for be willing to do something that you enjoy for very little money, it's a sign of good character! Not so much for the shop that surely is taking a larger portion of the labor charge than you are getting paid for doing the work.
 
I would be glad to do it for $15/stage, but not for the entire set. I would rather teach the budding tech diver how to rebuild their own regs.
