What is average income for a reg tech employed full-time at a dive shop? I am looking to change careers. My LDS has an opening for me which will train me as a reg tech in-house while I complete my IDC. Any information would be helpful and appreciated.

Understand that most "reg techs" in a LDS are not really reg techs but general employees that also service regs. There are a few real full time reg techs but not many. Make sure you understand exactly what the job is before taking it.

It's to replace the primary reg tech who is relocating next year. He would be the one training me to take his position. Was my instructor for several certs. I know the shop employees quite well.

Aside from instructing he services regs full-time. Certified by most manufacturers and complete compressor repair too.

No idea, my main LDS has a contractor who comes in to do the reg service. But you should try to get to the actual certification classes at DEMA if you do this.

Thank you to everyone for their input.
