I don't trust any technician that can't spell the name of the company that makes my regulator....it is Apeks, not Apex :)
That, and sites, banking on a reputation for delivering precise work, who cannot even be bothered to correctly spell authorized and manufacturers -- ("authourized" and "manufacurers," in that link).

Almost a month for service, from beginning to end?

It had been a hard week to ten days for local regulator servicing, when I worked a shop as a kid; and that's when we were busy; but there was no farming out or repair by the mails; and there also weren't two-dozen brands with their expensive rubber bands, fiddly bits, and designer lubricants, all vying for attention back then . . .
