The SoCal ReefCheck Monitoring Team is about to splash in for the first survey of the 2007 season.

(All actual planning for 2007 surveys will be done on the ReefCheck site, so please confirm dates, sites, times at the RC site before driving to the survey.)

I'm suppose to be doing an open water dive for my DM class that day can we make it 4-7 instead cause I'd like to be there for the first survey of the season.

Wow...I thought I was dedicated and enthusiastic . I pale in comparison to you, John!

You want to do this survey from 4AM to 7AM... so you can then go to your DM open water dive?

Unfortunately, the survey guidelines require that we survey when the sun is, like, ON THIS SIDE OF THE EARTH.... so no can do, mon ami.

We'll have to survey after the sun rises....:shakehead

But there is No Whay we can complete the survey of this site in only one day.
We'll be scheduling a second day for completion on one of the weekends in April.
