Anyone had any experience with these reels? It looks like you can get them with orange or yellow line now. Just curious to know if they are worth the added cost over something like a DR reel. Thanks.

I have a REEF Scuba reel. I forget the model name but I love my reel. It is sturdy and easy to operate.

Cool. Thanks.

I purchased the Reef Survivor reel with #36 line in 2004 for a trip to Truk. It gets light use, but has held up very well- even without the yearly free maintanence that they offer. It's a solid design, and I like that it is all aluminum.
