Most deep dives on East End are planned to 100ft (30m). I know our shop does, and I'm fairly certain that CDL andOF do as well. All deep dives are along a portion of the Cayman Wall which surrounds the entire island.

Most shallow dives are 50-60ft (15-18m) depending somewhat upon the specific site. Shallow dives may be along the top edged of the wall or else at sites set back from the wall about 100m or so.

Some shallow sites are suitable for taking resort course divers and divers age 10-11, all of whom are limited to 40ft (12m). The top of the wall is too deep for these divers, so they can only be accomodated on shallow sites set back from the wall.

There are four shallow sites out front of the Royal Reef and Morritt's that are some of the nicest sites chock full of canyonways and swim thrus.

We hear lots of kudos from our guests about the amenities at Royal Reef. All seem happy with their choice.

Two tank dives are available every morning from all three East End dive ops. OF and Tortuga Divers offer two tank afternoon dives certain days.

Much preferred the restaurant at Tortuga's (for lunch and supper) can't say we were even tempted to try the restaurant at the Reef (especially after our "comedy" breakfast that Ky refers to above).

You'll enjoy it...
