Thanks...Looking at it now....new to diving and want to get some bottom time under my belt.

Well u have come to the right place that is for sure. :)

I know this is a ways out but September 1 we are planning on putting together a lil meet-n-greet shore diving gathering. I haven't even posted a thread on it yet but look for it soon.

Where is there good shore diving?

Not brilliant but definitely a couple of good spots. Venice is awesome for sharks teeth and Anna Maria has Spanish Rocks. I don't have the directions to Spanish Rocks but I am sure someone will along here shortly to give them to you :) We have a very helpful group here.

Mostly the east coast! There's a couple of dives around here. Spanish Rocks and the Sugar Barge on Anna Maria Is., Red Rocks and Phosphate Dock down at Boca Grande.

Check out this web site, just don't believe the crap about the Great Whites. Everyone knows Boca Grande Pass is home to Hammerheads!:sharkattack:
