I grew up in Savannah, and was hoping to dive Gray's Reef this year. However, the only company that I know who does trips there is Latitude 31, and it appears they are not doing any dive trips in 2024.

Has anyone dove Gray's Reef? How did you like it?

Are you aware of anyone who offers trips or charters to dive it?

Thanks!

I'm very curious to hear from others on their experiences as well. I tried to contact Lat 31 earlier this year and got no response at all. Then other plans came up and I've not followed up since.

Yeah, at the top of Latitude 31's website it says:
"WE WILL NOT BE RUNNING DIVE TRIPS FOR THE 2024 SEASON. CHECK BACK IN 2025! THANK YOU!"

When I looked into this a couple of years ago, I got the impression that they didn't go out to Gray's Reef that often under normal circumstances (nor did any other dive op). Basically, they said something like "watch our website and Facebook to see when we schedule a trip there". After that, and seeing some videos of Gray's Reef that didn't look all that great, I kind of gave up on it.

Following up on this in 2025. Latitude 31's website is gone, and no Facebook posts since 2023. So unfortunately I think they may no longer be in business.

If anyone finds another shop that goes to Gray's Reef, please let me know - I'd love to dive it at least once!
