Hello fellow divahs!

My girlfriend and I recently (and finally) got OW certified on our Key West vacation over the past week. The dive shop there was truly top-notch. Problem is, now that we're back home I'm hoping to find a local shop with the same expertise and love of the sport as the one in Key West. Anyone have recommendations on great shops in the RI or Southeastern MA area?

Thanks in advance!

you found a top notch dive shop.. wow...
i thought they where stuff of legend. like gnomes and jackalopes

i've been having really good encounters with pier dive shop and Epicenter Scuba, which is in warwick by the airport, so its a little closer to you. They have gone out of their way to help me twice now.

You could "try" B & M Distributing in East Providence, http://bmdistributing.net/. I say "try" because he is a bit independent and doesn't always keep regular hours. He does have a good selection and decent prices. Being in Providence, you do not have too far to venture to check the place out. This isn't to say that Epicenter and Pier Dive are not great shops, I have had very good service in each one and recommend them also without reservation. It's just that being in northern RI they are a bit of a ride for me.

Who can say who qualifies to enter Bruce's shop?

SE MA locations I can think of are....Divers Market in Plymouth. Wayne will go out of his way to get you what you need... Or check with Al @ South Shore Divers in South Weymouth- they carry Scubapro and a larger variety of gear than other shops around.

My Friend !

Of course he is reefering to the one in Key West.....want a top notch shop in NEW ENG. Go to any shop and just say yes to ANYTHING they want you to buy...of course be prepare to spend 2-3 grand a year !
