Stuart,

Check out my post above for Rachel's location... it's easy to find! She can be reached by phone at 305.515.2750 or online at www.wreckreationcharters.com

Knowing of your penchant for good eats... I'll let you in on a couple of well-kept "secrets" down that way: Mangrove Mama's Cafe on Sugarloaf Key (~mm20 bayside), and the No Name Pub on No Name Key (off of Big Pine ~mm30 bayside). Enjoy!

Thanks Brent - always looking for some tasty places - will make a note of them (although usually only make it that far down the road once or twice a year)

ECPaul - another interesting place to eat, although a bit far from Cudjoe Key is around mm 50 - Keys Fisheries in Marathon on 35th Street (Gulf Side) - try the Lobster Reuben !

I second the recommendation of diving with Rachel (Wreckreation Charters). She's a diver who has a business rather than a business person who has a dive boat. I've done seven dives with her. Tell her what you want and she'll make it happen for you if it can be done. BTW, she's moved her operation to Summerland Key, just up the road from Cudjoe. Check out the map at http://www.wreckreationcharters.com.

Hey Rachel - do you have a website with details of where you are and phone number etc. - although I rarely make it down that far, would be nice to know where an actual "dive op" is (rather than the snorkelly thing)

thanks
Stuart
You can check out the old reef-divers webpage on the wayback machine. Lot's of info on Looe Key, the Busch, etc. It looks like most of the stuff from the 2004 webpages are valid, although the location has changed, and the current operator is a lot better looking :) http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://reef-divers.com
