recommendations for dive operators nr Ohio please

Hi,

I'm looking for recommendations for a decent PADI instructor in the NE, ideally not too far from Cleveland, Ohio. Its for a buddy who took his Open Water on holiday down in Florida recently, but unfortunately had to ditch it halfway through due to a dangerous and borderline psychopathic instructor (eg left an open water student in the sea alone at about 5-10m depth while he went back to the shore to get more weights!!)

He only needs to complete last 2 open water dives, and its taking some balls to get back in the water after his previous experience

Any recommendations gratefully received!

Does he have the referral paperwork from the previous instructor? He'll need that for any instructor to sign off on. They may, if they are any good and ethical, also require a pool assessment and additional dives. If his instructor was that bad, I wouldn't sign off on him without a thorough check out of his knowledge and skills.
