although, my wife tries to throw out the really old ones when i'm not looking... ;)

That happens in my house too - this weekend in fact. I found 3 of my oldest ones in a pile of clothes she deemed not even worthy of donating. Apparently she feels that holes throughout and heavy shrinkage are a problem. :11:
 
My sister was going to throw out a bag full of her boyfriend's t shirts, but at the last minute she got a flash of inspiration and sewed them into a quilt. She gave it to him for Christmas, and he couldn't have been happier with it. In fact, it was so cool I started saving up a bag of my own. :)
 
Why would anyone want a T- shirt that didn't say "Scubaboard" on it? :winky:
 
Kind of a neat idea if you think about it. You get a new shirt and then you go dive the place.

Saw one over the weekend that I just had to have but the guy said they weren't available anymore. It said "stroke" across the front.
