Today I was walking around Costco, the equivalent to Sams club, and ran across Panasonic rechargeable set. You get 6 AA 2100 mAh batteries and 2 AAA 750 mAh and a 2hr quick charger. The quick charger can handle worldwide voltage (AC100-240V). The set ran $19.95.

This isn't equivalent to Powerex set but half the cost. I thought I would pass the info along.
 
I started out with a set similar to that one. It'll do until you can get the Maha204 and PowereX batteries. :D

These are Great batteries!! The little charger they sell is awesome as well, very handy for travel.
