Pan Aqua is who I used to get my OW cert and nitrox. They are a well established dive shop. Very legitimate and respected. If I can be of any help PM me. Use the phone and address I provided above. If you need more info let me know

I've never trained with Pan Aqua or set foot in their store. However, I did meet several of their staff at Dutch Springs and observed their setup. They seemed like a nice group of people with a well run group.

Yeah, they are. Do you remembr which staff you met?

I've never done Dutch Spring. Cold, fresh water with no fish. Nope, no thanks. I hear it's a good place to practice skills though?

Pilot_fish, are you crazy? not only a good place to practice, it's an amusement park for divers to go dive and search for wrecks and there are definitely several kinds of fish in there. Go to: www.dutchsprings.com

I see that you are from NYC, grab your chance to go there and check it out when it's warmer.

The best dive shop to help with certification in NYC is: Pan Aqua on West 43 St off 9th Ave. Ask for Garry Collins. Telephome # is: 212-736-3483. You can PM me if you need additonal help.

A friend of mine uses Pan Aqua all the time and LOVES them.

A lot of local divers go there but since I can afford to go to a tropic clime I have chosen to do that. I'm sure it has its merit but it's not high on my list, at the moment. Will look at the link you provided. Thanks

okay i know about breast aug first hand had surgery 2 yrs ago and have been diving several times those lil suckers are floation divices for me. i am 5'7" and 125 i use 18lbs of wt to descend no lie. the dive masters never believe me about the wt issue so i ended up buying my own to save the hassle and embarassment!!! good luck on scuba

With out a good look at them I don't know!

Sorry about that, sometimes my hands just type and I have no control over them. :11:
I am seeking therapy for the problem though.

Hello citygal:

There is not any possibility that implants can explode from diving. They can not implode either. Liquids are essentially incompressible.

During decompression, there is the slight possibility that gas bubbles could form and the implants get bas bubble formation. This has been tested and it was not found to occur.

What luck! :35:
