I have always wanted to learn to dive, and an upcoming trip to Costa Rica will give me the opportunity. But I'm afraid the change in water pressure might cause my breast implants to explode. I swear I'm not making this up! Does anyone know anything about this?

Your gals'll be fine. Liquid is incompressable, so changes in pressure won't have an affect.

Strap 'em down though, as they do tend to float a teeny bit.

It can't happen, Silicone and Saline are liquids. Liquid is non-compressible. This info is from an article in the Sept. 2004 Scubadiving Training section called "Diving in Vain" it covers this subject, Botox, Nip/Tucks and other common procedures.

which covers NY/NJ/PA, you'll find something or someone from NYC should help you out.

I know literally hundreds of "augmented" ladies who dive regularly and non of them have had dive-related problems. Go forth and enjoy yourself. Costa Rica is an absoutely charming place.
