Sorry, I did not mean to imply that college students are immature. My appology.

But you do understand, if someone laughed at me because of the clothing I wear, or the gear I dove with, I would think less of the person.

Afterall, I did my AOW in blue jeans and a thrown away wetsuit top. I would not laugh at anyone irregardless of what they wore or dove with.

When the number of your logged dives catches up to the number of your posts, hopefully you will have achieved a degree of experience, maturity and wisdom, both in diving and in life, to avoid spraying insults indiscriminately.

OMG!!!! Now THAT was good!! :D That should be in somebodies signature line ---

TekDiveGirl:
Tobin made me a PINK Torus wing for my doubles and I love it! I'd love to see a picture of you in your PINK DSS wing. As to wishing you had more PINK gear click my link below and take a look.

I've been on your site a couple of times... and I'm looking into thinking pink a wee more! I added you as a myspace friend and I have a couple of pictures on there of the wing. Soon, I'm going to need another... it isn't old, but with 300 dives on it, PLUS all the pool time, it is turning more orangey. My doubles wing will soon be going pink as well!

This thread is gay.

Free will... it's the thing that gives you the ability to choose not to participate in threads you have no appreciation for.

You know, fashion trends will change. Us trend setters are being ridiculed, and laughed at.

Ten years from now, Dawgdiver will be wearing pink, and making fun of us "happy folks" because we will chose another color that he does not feel comfortable with.

I wouldn't be standing there pointing and laughing, but it would be odd. I don't really care what anyone wears, for awhile i was diving in a bright yellow BC, blue fins and a green mask. Would I care if somebody had a pink snorkel? No, but if some guy went out of his way to have pink diving gear it would seriously raise eyebrows. Pink is a gender-specific color.

How many of us wear pink (ones with at least one Y chromasome)? I have a pink tipped snorkel, and now just acquired a pink weight belt. I am working on getting a pair of pink fins next....

How many of us are manly enough to admit we like pink? I met a man on a dive boat with a pink belt, and another one with a pink regulator... They were not at all "happy" in the fruitty sense, but were happy otherwise.

I dunno about pink but I personally like non-black gloves. Watching somebody trying to signal with their hands with their black gloves and with their black exposure suit in the background just sucks.

One night at the Halekulani Hotel in Waikiki, I even got to dance with one of the two female stars of Pinku Lady. She and her her mom were so short next to me that I just picked them up so I didn't have to bend over so much. There was other stuff that happened that night, but geez, none of you want to know it.

:rofl3: Tom, you stud u... :rofl3: LOL! You got to dance with one of the gals from Pink Lady? That is hilarious...

remember which one? :eyebrow:
