Besides wanting to be able to angle it to point forward when my hands are together, I want to be able to angle it so that the back of a cordless light doesn't hit my dry glove rings.

The Light Monkey is 2" i believe, and the others I use are 2.2 (give or take) I think. On those, I put some inner tubing to make it a bit higher since the bezel at the top around the glass is thicker and it was catching and scratching on my helmet, making it difficult to hook on and take off.
