I was wondering if a Ranger Bladder can be fitted to any manufacturers backplate or just a Zeagle one? How is this connection achieved? Any info, instructions, etc. would be much appreciated. Also does the Zeagle Backplates require a STA?
The Ranger Bladder can only be used on the Zeagle backplates.
It is attached by laying the wing down on the back of the plate lining up with the pre-drilled holes and then by 8 screws that sit into these countersunk holes on the front of the plate and 8 nylock nuts behind the triglides on the wing.
No matter what wing you use on the Zeagle backplates you do not need an STA as they use two cambands to secure the tank.
