Fairly new to the board, I guess I jumped in a commented on some of the other forums before getting here. I dive about 4 times a week in the Marshall Islands.......Love every minute of it.
I have been impressed with the information that I have seen being shared. This looks like a great resource for new divers.

Welcome to SB! It's a great resource for all that love diving. Don't worry, "jumping in" is kinda habitual for divers. :D we SBers totally understand! Happy, safe diving- see you on the board!

Hi !!,

Welcome to Scubaboard.

I read about Marshall Islands when I was a kid and have always thought it would be great place to visit. Where can one get info on getting there ? I'm sure it would be interesting to many if you could share with SB members on diving near you.

Like everything else in life, this isn't a terribly easy thing to do. At least not at Kwajalein Atoll. We are at a military installation and that makes it difficult to get "outsiders" ;-[ in to dive. On the other hand, if you want to do some beautiful walls and WWII relics, go to my buddies site www.bakodivers.com and talk with Jerry.......he is on Majuro Atoll and has a great time diving. He has some fantastic wrecks that he has found himself and maintains pretty close hold. There are also WWII aircraft and vehicles to dive on. The Arno Atoll is about 15 miles from his headquarters and only sees about 50-100 divers a year. To say it is pristine is a bit of an understatement. You might want to check out the Kwaj scuba club site at kwajaleinscubaclub.com. Hope this helps and if I can help anyone else on the board, drop me a note. HAPPY DIVING! The attachment shows the old man doing his video thang!
