I had a Cobra, and added the Suunto Quick Disconnect to it. I am now considering an Oceanic Pro-Plus 3, and wondering if the Suunto QD will work on the Oceanic? I'm assuming that with the standardization of thread sizes among Scuba equipment, that should not be a problem, I am, however, concerned about whether the Suunto will fit up into the Oceanic housing.

Thanks!

Most QD are mfg specific - this is true in the dive industry. That said you can take the male (on the computer) and female (on the hose) pieces off and put them on other hoses/computers as the threads are standardized 7/16 x 20.

A little research and I have, I think, answered this one myself. It appears that the fittings on all high pressure hoses are 7/16 x 20 (both male and female ends), so if my Suunto QD will fit into the housing of the Oceanic computer, I shouldn't have a problem.
