I recommend Thresher Shark Divers in Malapascua Philippines. We dove with them a couple of years ago and had a great time. A good mix of reef, muck, and deep dives on the small island off the coast of Cebu.

I have to go to a conference in Guam and am trying to figure out good diving on the island. Can you recommend an operator? Any not-to-be missed sites?
I also plan to add a week to 10 day trip to either Palau or Philippines since I'm already over there. Any thoughts on which would be better?
Save the diving money in Guam and spend it in Truk.
But do avoid the typhoon season.

Um, on of the first things I said was "no liveaboards this time"?

But thanks though.

Vacation booked last two weeks of Sept-- looking like some combination of Bali and Komodo at the moment. More research required, and then I herd cats.....

Thanks to all.

Komodo is a solid choice, it will blow your mind. Make sure you go to the USAT Liberty wreck dive in Tulamben as well. Enjoy.
