I am looking to come up and do some shore diving in the next week or 2. I am wondering what factor(s) are most important in choosing the time and day that I come. Are there days that I should target or days I should avoid because of crowds and parking? Time of day, do I need to be there at the break of dawn? Is there a better tide to look for? Should I look for a day that has a certain tide at a certain time? Thanks in advance for the help. Also, if someone is looking for a buddy on a weekday I'm July, let me know.

Check out Venice Fossil Divers dive conditions thread to keep up to date for conditions. Also check out swellinfo.com. Skip this coming week and shoot for the following. Was pretty bumpy out there today.
