1. depends on the manufacturer and specific tank, but about 33 lbs, with the valve
2. again depends, but about 39 lbs
3. depends on the diver and what the diver is doing, but likely between 30 mins and 2h
4. depends on the filling system, but commonly 5 to 30 mins

This is for a novel? An AL80 is the most commonly found cylinder for most warm water diving, but you've got options almost everywhere. OTOH for some types of diving, all you'll find are steel cylinders. Tell us the situation and we can give you something that would make sense.

@tursiops weights are about right. If your RMV is around normal, 0.55 cu ft/min, an AL80 will last a little over 80 min at 15 ft. It will last shorter or longer depending on your gas consumption. At my average gas consumption, it would last a little over 2 hours.

Really? I recall question 3 type questions in the DM course. Don't recall 1,2, and 4 in either OW or DM course (and I took PADI DM in 2009, just before they eliminated a lot of the complicated theory). How long would it take to fill up a tank? I dunno, a few minutes while I wait?

Yeah, one of my buddies who is PADI DM certified asked me what the number meant. He dives quite a lot and is highly educated with a high paying technical job, so I think he would have remembered.
