Hello peeps!

i dont have any idea on what is that hexagonal shape encircled in red, can somebody tell me if what was going on? is it the result of backscattering?

thank you in advance :)

I think it is as likely that it is a water spot on your port. I know on my last trip I ended up with a few of those. By dive 3 or 4 if I forget to clean my port between I get similar spots.

i see, maybe one of the reason is im just using built in flash. need to check my lens port before and after the dive. thank you guys! :)

Probably backscatter caused by a spec of reflective material floating between your flash and subject. If the location is consistent, it could also be a result of reflection of your internal flash by your port if the flash isn't fully blocked from illuminating the inside of the port. In any case it's minimal and you can remove it a number of ways in programs like photoshop elements. (Clone tool, spot repair brush, etc.) Just match it too the closest surrounding area, using a small sample size.
