G'day all,

I have just purchased my new Inon D180 Strobe and am currently in the process of putting it all together and reading manuals etc etc.
My Question: Where the fisheye tray screws into the bottom of the housing (pt-015) becomes loose very easily, does not hold it grip tension, any one have this problem?
I was thinking of trying maybe a fibre or spring washer to help it along.

your comments welcomed.

I have the same tray but didn't notice that problem. I would have thought that one or two fibre washers would fix it though.

I've never had that problem either. Are you settling the housing as far back as it will go to prevent it wobbling? If not, that little bit of wobble may be helping to loosen the screw.

Keep it back. Also - it may sound silly, but be sure the tray is aligned facing the right way. If you've never seen the rig it'd be easy to put it on the wrong way.

Not that I had that problem, or anything when I set up Sapphire's rig...

I had the same problem. Take out the screws and put the part you have on the top on the bottom and put the screws back in. Should do the trick.

Thanks for your input, Have fixed the problem, it wasn't forward enough touching those 2 plastic lugs on the housing.

But you all keep hanging round because I'm sure I will have other questions.

thanks again
