That's true. You can send your edited video back to your camera and tape. However, that's not very practical if you want to give your friends, or fellow trip people, a copy of your video. Not that many people have a Blu-ray player. But, more people have Blu-ray players than have Hi-Def cameras to play back copies of tapes you've made.
