I've been looking at some of the pics that some friends get with a dome port on their cameras.

I need a bit of help on the pieces needed. (My brain gets fuzzy reading the manufacturer websites....)

I am in possession of an ikelite housing for a 5050 with an UWL-100 attached. What dome ports can I put on it? I know that there is an ikelite dome port 9306.37 but does this fit on it? And that there is an Inon dome port (not found a part number).

Does only one fit it, or both? And if both, is one better than the other?:xeye:

Appreciate any help or advice.
I'm also using a TTL ds-125 (just one for now...although I have hopes to add another member to the family).....and it sees both the cold great lakes, rock quarries and the pretty warm fishies of the caribbean.

What about macro?

Not sure if the Ike one fits your Inon but since you have the Inon I would use the Inon dome port.

There are parts that attach the dome to the WAL and they cannot be separated underwater. It is intended to be left together once assembled. There is no water between them.

Yuzo (link) in Japan sells the dome for 39,800 Yen (about $345.00 US) plus shipping.

Ryan (link) at Reef Photo shows the price for the WAL and dome already assembled. You can contact him for a price for just the dome port.

Trouble is that I can get my fingers on an attractively priced ikelite dome, the 9306.37.....for about half the price of new. But then if I needed a new WAL to fit it, well the cost savings wouldn't be there.......
