Question for commercial divers

First, I want to make it clear, I am not a commercial diver!

Where is the best place to sell some commercial diving gear? I occasionally buy dive shops that are liqudating/going out of business. In the inventory of one shop that went out of business, it included a Kirby Morgan SL17 helmet with accessories/extra parts. I don't want to list it on craigslist or ebay and risk some untrained bubba killing himself. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Just eBay it. Any 'untrained bubba' can buy a hat anywhere- just inform any bidders that it should be cert'ed before use. There's always plenty of supalites for sale nowadays...

(I would also have put offshorediver.com, but it seems to have died down to one posting every couple of months. Also, most Commercial Divers know the price of second hand gear and know that it's a buyers market just now. The beauty of eBay is that it opens up to a worldwide market, and plenty non-commercial guys seem to get really excited about having a band mask on the wall of his office after a week's scuba diving course in Eliat...!)

I refer to some friends that took a few Karabiners (used for sending gear down to the job) from their DSV a few years ago, posted then as 'Deep diving equipment as used on xxxxx Saturation dive vessel (big pic of vessel etc.) bit more bollocks about Sat Diving etc. aaaand they sold the lot for 20 quid each! There's a mug out there for everyone!
