Last weekend at Dutch Springs, I observed 3 divers that had an unique type of scooter. The scooter was red, and it was mounted on the tank - can someone refer me to where I can find more information about it?

I never saw a red one, but Aquadyn makes one. http://www.aquadyn.com/

What happens if the trigger gets stuck in the "on" position? It doesn't look like it can be cut away from you.

The SPU replaces cumbersome weight-belts, and features a quick release for added safety.
I like that idea even less, there's times when I've set my scooter in the sand to do photos or have a quiet look around. Since it's your weights, it's always with you.

Also don't you think it would be awkward to always have to remember to leave an extra foot behind you for clearance.
