Hi everyone & esp. marine bioligists,
I was told by a guy who works in the field that the strobe from our UW camera/flash guns KILLS :11: pygmy seahorses....
I'd hate to kill anything underwater, but is there anyone else out there who can support this??
If it was true, I would definitely give up taking photos of them (except in ambient light)...kinda like not touching the whale sharks, right! ...what right do we have anyway!!
PS. For those of you who have taken shots of them, don't jump so quick at answering unless you've gone back to see the same seahorse on a later dive....
