The problem is because they were all hand painted, so with use, the paint just wore off. I ended up with a bunch of clear second stage covers over time, and then of course I had to have different color diaphragms
Which was cool in its own way. I would have killed for the all clear body G250, but never was able to find one to buy. I guess the clear diaphragm in that would be the coolest, but the red and blue dipahragms looked nice in those as well.
